Due to the Global Pandemic that first hit China and then slowly the whole world, a lot of changes have been required in order to continue a normal lifestyle. Where as work for home was only recognised for working people earlier, this aspect has become common for everybody today, be it for professional people, businessmen, or students for that matter.

Schools and colleges across the world are now online, some via zoom, others via other platforms like google meet, cisco webex etc. When it comes to education, admission to colleges and institutes is equally important and therefore various examinations are now conducted online. National Law Universities (NLUs) and various other law colleges have Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) Examination for admission. There are about twenty two law colleges and various other private colleges that use this test as basis for admission to their institutes.

The Application forms for CLAT-2020 started on 1st January 2020 and got closed on 10th July 2020. The examination was scheduled on 22nd August 2020. However the examination date had moved ahead to 07 September 2020 for both UG and PG from 2pm to 4pm.

Today, it has been updated that Clat examination shall not be held on 07 September 2020. The new date given is 28th September 2020, from 2pm to 4pm. The decision was finalised after taking into consideration the current lockdown in states of West Bengal and Bihar.
