-I applied through a connection. 

Work Timings

-9:30am - 7:30pm (Monday-Friday)

Two Saturday's in a month are off and two working till 4:00pm.

 

Core areas of law

-General Corporate

 

Main tasks

-Researching on Cases.

-Researching on Arbitration & Conciliation.

-Researching on State Specific Acts.

-Intense research on Companies Act 2013

-Research on Intellectual Property Law.

Work Environment

-The work environment was very professional. Interns had their own sitting spaces. The associates and partners were helpful and would guide as and when required. With respect to work, interns have to be regular and need to report the associates or partners on daily basis. I never sat idle, if you want to have a good experience, you need to approach them for work. 

Breaks 

-There was no specific lunch timings or breaks. There was a small canteen available at one corner of the floor, one could call and order from there. There are various restaurants and cafes nearby to the office, so you may go out and eat. 

 

Court Visits

-Since I was in the General Corporate team, I did not have to visit courts. However, interns in litigation department got to visit National Company Law Tribunal, Sessions Court, Bombay High Court. 

 

Stipend

-10,000 INR

 

Things that could be improved

-My experience was very enriching and I found nothing to be bad. If i have to suggest something, it would only be with respect to having more discussions with associates and partners. Everybody in the office is very busy which is why it was hard to have general discussions.
