INDEMNITY AFFIDAVIT

 

To

                       The Bank Manager,

                       ABC Bank,

                       Vastrapur, Ahmedabad

 

                       I, Ms.Y w/o late Mr.X , aged 53 years ,occupation – Businesswoman,  residing at J-302 Adani Shantigram, Chandkheda, Ahmedabad hereby certify that I am the only legal heir Mr.X , who died leaving behind a saving account in your Bank and I request you to let me withdraw the money from the saving account of Mr.X opened in your Bank .The necessary details required for such withdrawn is given below:-

      I hereby request you to please let me withdraw the money against the above stated details of bank account which is opened in your branch.

 

      I hereby agree to indemnify the ABC Bank in the manner hereinafter stated :

 

      I am the only sole legal heir of Mr X who died due a natural death and that we have no children or any other family member living , who may call themselves as the legal heir of Mr.X and I shall be allowed to withdraw money from the bank.

 

     Now it is hereby agreed that in consideration of the ABC Bank who is allowing me to withdraw the money from the savings account in the Vastrapur branch of my husband ,Mr.X who died leaving behind me his wife as his sole legal heir, I hereby covenant at all times hereafter and from time to time to save, defend and keep indemnified the ABC Bank and their estates and effects from and against all actions, costs, suits, legal proceedings, claims, demands, charges, damages expenses and liabilities of whatsoever nature which the ABC Bank may sustain or incur due to claim of somebody else claiming the amount from the said saving account , which is allowed by the Bank to be withdrawn by Ms Y for only the reason that she calls herself as the sole legal heir of Mr.X

 

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I hereto have made the request for such a transfer of right to utilise the said account at Ahmedabad, the 10^th day of  December 2018.
