What was the duration of Internship and daily timings?

- One month internship. There were no specific timings, but deadline was provided for every work.

 

How did you apply and secure an internship? 

- I applied through the reference.

 

What are the core areas of law dealt in the firm/organisation?

- Motor Vehicle Act, 1988

- Indian Penal Code, 1860

- Criminal Procedure Code, 1973

 

What were the main tasks assigned to you?

- The main task assigned to me was of the research work over the above-mentioned laws. I had to find the Supreme Court and High Court judgement over the complicated legal issues and specifically the latest ones. This helped me in learning the legal developments over that issue. And for the research work one must have a good understanding of the research tools required.     

 

How comfortable did you find the work environment?

- The work environment was particularly good and welcoming. Sir was very humble and helped in understanding the complexity of the case laws better and also provided with the feedback on every submission.  

 

Where there any specific breaks given. If yes, what were the timings?

-Since it was a virtual internship, nothing was specifically mentioned.

 

Did you attend any Courts?

-No

What were the perks? Was stipend provided. If yes, how much?

-No

 

Where there any things that could be improved?

- Overall, I found the experience to be enriching one and there are no suggestions as such for improvement, but there is no rose without thorns. On the one side where I had the advantage to work from home, on the other side I also miss out on the practical learning and the courtroom exposure aspect and technically that is internship is all about. But still the internship helped me a lot in deeper understanding over the subject matter provided to me.
