Former NASA astronaut who walk in space becomes the first Female to reach the deepest point of the Earth's Ocean along with an entrepreneur.
On 7 June 2020 former NASA Astronaut and Geologist Kathy
Sullivan (68 yrs.) becomes the first woman to reach the Earth’s deepest point at
the bottom of the Challenger Deep, almost 6.9 miles (11,000 meters) below the
Pacific Ocean’s within Mariana Trench. She was accompanied by Victor Vescovo
and the total expedition lasted for almost 4 hours. And the pressure was over
1,000 times the pressure at sea level on the submarine named 'Limiting Factor'.

According to EYOS Expeditions, Challenger Deep is considered
to be the deepest point. This history making dive was part of Ring of Fire
expedition organised by Calanda Oceanic.
First deep dive in Mariana trench was made by US Navy
Lieutant Don Walsh and Swiss engineer Jacques Piccard in 1960.
Earlier record was in the name of Vescov’s team in 2019, they reached about 35,849 feet deep and discovered many new sea creatures.
