-I applied on the official website of the firm, with the Noida office as my first preference.

 

Core areas of law

-I worked for the Mergers and Acquisitions team as well as the e-Commerce team. However, the firm has different teams for various other fields of law.

 

Main tasks

·      Prepare due diligence reports for ongoing matters.

·      Research on various legal propositions and caselaws for ongoing cases.

·      Prepare casenotes on specific issues related to an ongoing matter.

·      Proofread documents and reports.

 

Work Environment

-The associates are very approachable and the interns are allowed to work for different teams along with the team allotted to them, incase of dearth of work sometimes. The interns are also given to access to all the resources such as online research databases as well as books from the library.

 

Breaks

-Lunch Break is flexible and interns are not allowed to leave the office premises during office hours.

Things that could be improved

-The interns are not allowed to select their preferred area of law and team to work with.
