-What was the duration of Internship and daily timings?

 

Duration of internship- 2 months, Timing- 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM

 


-How did you apply and secure an internship? 

 

I applied through mail and followed up on a regular basis.

 


-What are the core areas of law that the firm practices in?

 

The core areas in which the firm deals include Commercial litigation, Tax Litigation, Real Estate Law and Corporate Law.

 


-What were the main tasks assigned to you? 

 

The main tasks that were assigned to me was related to drafting of writ petition, replies and a lot of work related to research. The main work which I did was related to taxation laws and commercial law and I learned a lot from all these works. Ample time was given to complete the research and, in any doubt, seniors working there were always ready to help.

 


-How comfortable did you find the work environment?

 

The work environment was very relaxed at Chir Amrit. All the people working are very kind and helpful and are always ready to help. They provided ample amount of time to complete the tasks.

 


-Were there any specific breaks given. If yes, what were the timings?

 

You can take a break for lunch whenever you want, and I also took a coffee break in the evening for 10-15 mins.

 


-Did you attend any Courts?

 

Yes, I attended proceedings of the tribunal 1-2 times during my internship.

 


-What were the perks? Was a stipend provided. If yes, how much?

 

No, there was no stipend.

 


-Were there any things that could be improved?

This internship was great, I learned a lot and I don’t think anything needs improvement, it was a great learning experience.
