What was the duration of your Internship?
- 4 weeks in the month of January 2020.
How did you apply and secure an internship?
-Aspirants are required to mail CV to the official email id choudharyadvocates@gmail.com followed by a
small telephonic interview concerning year of study and subjects studied so
far.
What are the core areas of law dealt in the firm?
- Civil, Criminal, Real Estate, NGT matters.
What were the tasks mainly assigned to you?
- Main task was to visit court and accompany in enlisted matter for that
day.
- While at office interns has to work majorly on finding precedent case
laws.
How comfortable did you find work environment to be?
-There are no such formalities except strict timelines interns are required to report at the court or office on time without being late. The office library is quite big and it's filled with books which are accessible to all for legal research. Work environment is normal, interns are free to work as per individual capabilities in case of any doubt one can reach Vivek sir or Vashundhara mam.
Were there any specific breaks mentioned?
- A regular break was provided from 3:00 P.M – 6:00 P.M after which I had to reach his office situated in Arera Colony for usual research work.
Did you visit Courts?
- I was required to directly report at District Court Bhopal sharply at 11:00 A.M. where I had to accompany Vivek sir and other associates in various matters listed for that particular day.
Were you provided with a Stipend?
- Basic stipend of Rs. 4000/- is awarded to every one however higher
amount might be given based on performance.
Things that could be improved in the Firm?
-There were no bad things as such which may require improvement.
What was the nearest Accommodation?
-There are many hostels available in the vicinity mainly in Arera colony and MP Nagar. One can easily reach the office or court because both are situated at prime locations. Arera Colony is a residential area while MP Nagar commercial hub coaching centre and professional jobs thus getting a place to stay in this area is not a big deal.
